Just informed today that we can't go to the Knoll.
We are still trying to find out the exact reason.
We will update as soon as we get more details

Be interesting to see what the University say, this is what they have said
I am so sorry for my delay in replying to your recent email. Emma has advised that some concerns were raised by the sub warden but the overall decision was made by the director of Services. Our director has informed us not to take any type of booking other than our normal day / residential conferences.
The decision was not made due to either of your visits to The Knoll and I can confirm that no other group will be allowed to investigate the student residence in future. All bookings have been cancelled.
We believe that the Sub Warden has connections with another group in Leicestershire, who we think was trying to Monopolise the venue for them selfs. as these concerns where never explained to us, we didn't have a chance to address them.
Never mind that the venue has been writen about in a book, on the Universitys Web Site plus the findings on another groups web site.
